Hey everyone, Denis here. These are the advanced prompts that I created for this conference. I hope they are of benefit.

If you have any questions or would like to chat to me, you can reach me via email: [email protected]

Content Creation

You are a social media strategist for an Irish hardware store. The business is [Business Name], based in [Location]. We want to move older stock from Autumn, including outdoor covers (BBQs, furniture, log stores), hedge trimmers, small garden power tools, fire pits, and chimineas.

Give me 3–5 Facebook content ideas that will help promote this stock. Each idea must include:
• A short concept title
• The angle (e.g., seasonal, problem-solving, DIY tip, offer)
• A one-sentence description of the idea
The ideas must suit typical Irish homeowners, the Irish climate, and real-world usage of these products. Keep the ideas practical and easy for a hardware store to execute.

My communication examples:
I prefer clear instructions, direct language, simple structure, and practical solutions suited to Irish SMEs and Irish audiences. I avoid filler, clichés, and vague marketing language. My requests typically include detailed breakdowns, structured outputs, and actionable takeaways.

Using the content ideas you previously created, write full Facebook captions for each idea. For every caption, include the following:
• The caption text written in a warm, practical, helpful tone suited to an Irish hardware store
• A clear call to action encouraging people to visit the store, call, or message for advice
• 1–2 simple imagery ideas that a local hardware store like [Business Name] could realistically create using in-store stock, staff, or displays

Make sure the captions help move older Autumn stock including: outdoor covers, hedge trimmers, small garden power tools, fire pits, chimineas, and any similar seasonal items.

Take the captions created above and rewrite them for three platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

For each platform, adjust the tone, pacing, and structure as follows:
• Facebook – warm, helpful, slightly longer, practical advice, community-focused
• Instagram – shorter, visually led, clean formatting, 1–2 relevant hashtags for Irish retail, avoid clutter
• TikTok – fast, snappy, conversational phrasing, suitable for short video content, include simple on-screen text ideas

Keep the core message the same across all platforms. Maintain clarity and a down-to-earth tone suitable for a hardware store in Ireland.

Create a short, engaging newsletter for [Business Name] promoting our older Autumn stock that we want to move on: outdoor covers, hedge trimmers, small garden power tools, fire pits, and chimineas.

The newsletter must include:
• A friendly opening paragraph addressing Irish homeowners
• A short section highlighting why now is a good time to pick up these seasonal items
• A brief spotlight for each product category with 1–2 practical benefits
• A clear call to action to visit the store, phone, or message us
• Optional: a simple bundle offer or limited-time incentive
• Tone: warm, practical, trustworthy, and suited to a local Homevalue hardware store

Keep the writing concise and helpful, and avoid generic sales language.

Customer Service

Generate 3–5 variations of a friendly reply for a customer asking about paint mixing wait times at [Business Name]. Each variation must:
• Keep the tone warm and approachable
• Offer slightly different phrasing and length
• Include a clear call to action (call/message/visit)
• Be easy for staff to copy and paste into social media replies or messages

Include one short, one medium, and one long reply.

Create a full customer-service script based on the FAQ provided below for [Business Name] in [Location]. The goal is to help staff respond confidently and consistently across [Phone / In-Store / Live Chat / Social Media Messages — choose one or more].

Use the following FAQ as your foundation:
[Insert FAQ content here]

For each FAQ item, generate:

1. A Staff Script

Write a natural, friendly, professional script in British English that staff can say word-for-word. Keep it clear, reassuring, and practical.

2. Likely Customer Responses (3–5 per FAQ)

Provide typical customer replies or follow-up questions, such as:
• Requests for more detail
• Concerns
• Clarification questions
• “What if…” scenarios
• Price- or time-related queries (if relevant)

3. Staff Replies to Each Customer Response

Write suitable replies for each customer response above. Tone should be warm, helpful, and suited to a local Irish retailer. Include placeholders where store details may vary, for example:
• [Typical Wait Time]
• [Stock Availability]
• [Price Range]
• [Service Hours]

4. A Short Version (for social media messages)

Create a condensed reply version for [Platform: Facebook/Instagram/TikTok/Email]—one or two sentences max.

5. A Policy-Aligned Version (optional)

Rewrite the script in a way that aligns with [Store Policy/Procedure] if applicable.

Marketing

Create a simple, practical marketing plan for a small hardware store in Ireland called [Business Name], located in [Location]. The plan should be easy to understand and suitable for a local Irish audience.

Include the following sections:
• Key Objectives (3–5 clear goals)
• Target Audiences (Irish homeowners, tradespeople, DIY beginners, etc. — rewrite based on store type)
• Recommended Marketing Channels (keep realistic for a small local store)
• Suggested Content Ideas (specific to [Products / Departments to Promote])
• Basic KPIs (simple: footfall, calls, enquiries, engagement, etc.)

Use straightforward, no-jargon language.
Format the final marketing plan into a clean, structured table that I can copy into a document or presentation.

Keep everything short, practical, and suited to Irish hardware retail.
